Problems of economic efficiency of enterprises of the Crimea sanatorium and resort complex

The work examines the positive and negative aspects of various forms of enterprises, their manifestation and impact on efficiency in the tourism sector, which is necessary to assess the prospects for its development and the region as a whole. Thus, in the future development of the industry, there is an opportunity for large enterprises to compete more effectively in the international and national markets of tourism services. The work notes the role of each form of entrepreneurship in the development of the regional economy. To assess indicators characterizing the scale of activity, indicators of the average number of employees and total assets of enterprises are used. As factors influencing the efficiency of the enterprises of the sanatorium-resort complex, the effect of scale of enterprises as a whole in the Crimea and for the Greater Yalta subregion was assessed. The results obtained indicate a lack of implementation of economies of scale and, as a result, a negative impact of this situation on efficiency. The study used a wide range of general scientific methods - analysis and synthesis, abstract-logical, system and correlation analysis and others. The work analyzes official statistical data on enterprises in the industry, as well as literature on this area of research.
