The effective deployment of innovative processes in the domestic economy is closely related to the strengthening of the scientific and innovative potential of educational structures, primarily higher education, its focus on solving the socio-economic problems of specific territories. In this regard, the understanding of such a phenomenon as the regionalization of innovation processes on the basis of higher education is an urgent problem and the most important priority of the country's strategic development in the long term.
