Problems of qualification of customs crimes, on the example of crimes committed by mail

The issues related to the problems of qualification of customs crimes, as well as the delineation of crimes committed in the customs sphere from the elements of administrative offenses are investigated. The article analyzes the provisions of the Resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on the commission of customs crimes by mail. The question is raised about the validity of the qualification of acts in cases where citizens of the Russian Federation were brought to criminal responsibility for the smuggling of potent substances by purchasing medicines via the Internet.
