Problems of local self-government in rural settlements

This article deals with the problems of local government in rural settlements, the issues of local importance, the criteria by which to characterize and determine the status of a rural settlement. Analysis of scientific and educational literature and determination of the most actual, for rural settlements of the Republic of Bashkortostan, problems, concerning social development, domestic and social infrastructure.
