Problems of modernization of strategic planning and management of the regional economy in the context of global changes

The article addresses the issues of modernizing strategic planning and managing socio-economic development in regions and municipalities in the context of global changes. The spatial aspects of regional development are examined, and strategic directions for improving regional management are proposed. The main aim of the research is to substantiate the strategic directions for socio-economic development and develop a management mechanism that ensures the creation of a favorable institutional environment. Based on the analysis of practical experience of regional and municipal authorities, as well as the evaluation of the effectiveness of strategic planning, the article suggests ways to improve regional and municipal planning and management to increase efficiency, enhance innovation, and strengthen cooperation between state and market institutions.
