Problems of the regulatory process of local government bodies

This article examines the essence of the implementation of the rule-making process at the local level: it defines the term "local rule-making", reviews municipal legal acts and the bodies that create them. The article identifies the problems that arise when creating municipal legal acts by authorized bodies and officials, which, in most cases, are problems of compliance with legislation: legal acts, branches of law. In addition, the article highlights a list of the main areas of violations in the creation of municipal legal acts. Such defects as violation of territorial competence limits are also considered. In addition, the article provides an overview of identifying problems in municipal legal acts when they are checked by the Prosecutor's office, as well as discusses ways to solve these problems.
