Practice shows that in recent years, cases of fraudulent activities in procurement have become more frequent. The article describes a widespread method of committing a crime using the functionality of the official website of the Unified Information System in the field of procurement (https://zakupki.gov.ru). Based on the practice of supporting criminal cases initiated on facts of fraud in the field of procurement, the authors identified the signs of dubious contractors. Their cumulative accounting will help business participants avoid fraud and loss of money.
