Problems of ensuring food security in Irkutsk region: challenges and solutions

Food security has become one of the key issues on the agenda not only at the federal but also at the regional levels. The main challenges faced by the Irkutsk region in ensuring food security are considered, and a comparative analysis of these problems with the regions of the Siberian Federal District is carried out. Possible ways to overcome them are proposed.
