Problems of definition of the state

The article outlines the authors' points of view on the understanding of the state. Attention is drawn to the problems of sociological, class-economic, legal and political approaches to the interpretation of the state. However, in modern domestic legal literature, such definitions of the concept of the term in question are given, which can be attributed to the political aspect of the problem. At the same time, it is proposed to consider the state as a system of bodies that exercise political sovereign power in society in a certain territory.
