Problems of the organization of historical education in the Russian Federation

The author correlates the functions and powers of the Interdepartmental Commission and the Office of Russian President for State Policy in the Humanitarian sphere, distinguishes the public-legal status of these bodies by the scope of their powers and by the functional role and relationship with each other. The author proposes to amend the relevant regulatory framework and expand the powers of the Interdepartmental Commission on Historical Education.
