Indications and types of after-hours activities in the light of new standards requirements are described. Conditions of increasing upbringing quality and the quality of elementary school pupils' socialization in rural areas are revealed. They are: identification of leaving sociocultural situation (deprivation) on the basis of its system analysis, diagnostics of children's abilities and interests, comprehensive (personnel, program and methodological, material and technical) after-hours activities support.
