Problems of training teaching staff of the additional education system for professional activities

The key contradictions and problems in the field of providing the system of additional education with teaching staff are highlighted. An overview of the tasks and directions of research related to this issue is provided. The results of a survey of students of secondary and higher music educational institutions about their attitude to teaching activities, understanding of what personal and professional qualities a teacher needs for successful professional implementation are presented. A conclusion is drawn about professional deficits and problems of graduates, measures to improve the quality of training of specialists in the field of additional music education.
