Problems of training teachers of vocational education

The article analyzes the issues of training teachers of vocational education in the conditions of postindustrial society, shows the change in requirements for professional and pedagogical workers in the conditions of informatization of vocational education. The results of the analysis of the professional standard in relation to the content of teacher training are presented. In modern conditions, the qualitative characteristics of professional and pedagogical personnel do not meet the regulatory requirements in terms of the availability of basic pedagogical education, as well as the availability of sufficient ICT competence. The development of professional and pedagogical education involves the measures to bring its content in line with the requirements of the professional standard “Teacher of vocational training, vocational education and further vocational education».
