Problems and prospects for improving public administration in the field of labor and social protection of citizens

The article is devoted to the problems of studying topical and debatable issues of state support for unemployed citizens, the possibility of solving acute socio-economic problems, the main forms of social support for citizens who find themselves in a difficult financial situation due to the loss of a job, and who are paid unemployment benefits. The ultimate goal of state support for the needy population under the proposed new paradigm of social policy is to strengthen the financial situation of an individual and provide an additional and stable source of income through help in finding a job, starting a business or financing education. The most promising and expedient form of social support for the population is the formation of not a passive recipient of state transfers, but an active participant in the process of increasing the aggregate supply in the economy, a generator of growth in the production process and employment growth.
