In this article, the author analyzes the concept of "production secret". The author pays attention to the positive aspects of this method of protection. The paper also highlights the main criteria of this concept. The problems arising in the application of the "status" of the secret of production are analyzed. The author has created an instruction aimed at the correct application of the considered method of protection.
