Problems of legal regulation of mortgage lending

This article is devoted to the current legal issues of mortgage regulation in Russia. The article examines the general provisions on mortgage lending, and highlights the main problems of modern legal regulation of mortgage lending in Russia, in particular, the shortcomings and contradictions in the current legislation are considered. The paper also considers one of the types of disputes that are typical for mortgage lending, and identifies "slippery" points when concluding a mortgage agreement.
