Problems of legal regulation of the adoption of Russian children by foreign citizens

The article discusses current issues of legal regulation of adoption of children-citizens of the Russian Federation by foreign citizens. The author presents the results of the analysis of both domestic legislation and international legal sources, considers statistical data. As part of the study, the legal status of children, as well as potential adoptive parents, both in the Russian Federation and abroad is considered. In addition, the issue of legal regulation of state control over the process and consequences of international adoption is described.
