The problems of legal protection of intellectual property on the internet

The article deals with the problems of legal regulation of intellectual property protection on the Internet. The analysis of two "anti-piracy laws" on protection of copyright on the Internet is carried out; their shortcomings from terminological and technical perspective are discussed. The author studies the problem of legal interpretation of the "information mediator" term in the legislation. The main types of violations of intellectual property rights on the Internet are considered.
