Problems of prevention by the police of administrative offenses in the field of entrepreneurial activity

The article deals with topical issues of prevention and suppression by the police of administrative offenses provided for in Chapter 14 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The first is related to the need to toughen the administrative penalty for doing business without state registration. The second is related to the insufficiently clear regulation of methods for detecting and suppressing administrative offenses in the field of entrepreneurial activity, as well as the heterogeneous approach to this issue in judicial practice. Based on the analysis of judicial practice, the author suggests ways to solve them.
