The problems of professional inclination and professional and psychological selection of young people

The results of the conducted research of professional inclination of applicants to Siberian Law Institute of the MVD of Russia 2000-2007 revealed the tendency of decreasing level of matriculants' professional inclination towards the police profession. It is also discovered that the number of individuals with immature attitude towards the profession and with inadequate intellectual development is constantly rising. The findings prove the need to optimize the job orientation and professional and psychological selection of candidates for education in institutes of higher education of the MVD Russia.
