The article describes the issues of counteraction to legalization (laundering) of proceeds of crime and financing of terrorism, conditions and factors of legalization of criminal proceeds in Russia. The article author has been revealed the areas of legalization of criminal proceeds and described the activity of Rosfinmonitoring; as well as the ways of increasing the processes efficiency of the counteraction have been suggested.
