Based on the cultural traditions of the Roman Empire, the results of archaeological research and the historical context, the author tries to reveal the meaning of the prohibitions of the Apostle to the community, as well as to indicate the possible causes of their occurrence. During the study of these problems, the author comes to the conclusion that the considered disturbance in the Church was a natural development of cultural traditions that existed in cities with the Roman way of life.
