Problems of development of a novel degree programme “Business-informatics”

The article provides rationale for the need to prepare students in Business-informatics degree programme as a response to a demand for specialists in areas of information systems and IT, able to improve the efficacy of business. Specifics of training students in compliance with the educational standard of higher education (3 rd generation) is examined.
