This article examined the main problems of protecting and implementing the constitutional rights of citizens to access information in the digital environment. The right to information occupies one of the key places in the modern information society, which is reflected in the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The digital form of the implementation of this right contributes to the creation of an appropriate digital information environment that allows you to receive information about the activities of state and local authorities, state, municipal, commercial organizations, non-profit public organizations, and other.
