Problems of realization of the right of citizens to freedom of movement, choice of place of stay and residence

The article deals with the problems of realizing the right of citizens to freedom of movement, choice of place of stay and residence. The argumentation and evidence that the categories of residence and housing had different normative content are given. The main content of the article reveals the stages of a citizen's departure from the country and the sources of regulation, and provides examples of judicial practice. The problem of differences in understanding of the concept and content of the concept of housing in comparison with international legislation is revealed. At the end of the article, the result of the study is presented and a decision is made on the need to bring its legislation in terms of the definition and content of the concept of housing in order to respect the rights and freedoms of a citizen.
