Problems of a gender approach in Russian educational institutions in XX century (in respect to Middle Volga region)

The article deals with a historically retrospective analysis of tendencies as to implementation of a gender approach in Russian educational institutions in XX century. The conditions of evolvement, efficiency of separate education and upbringing are examined.
