Socialization problems of the gifted children

The present article is considered with peculiarities of individual development of the gifted child and its problems in socio-cultural environment. The article authors believe that the giftedness of children can be determined and studied in the process of training and education only, as well as during the performance one or another meaningful activity by the child. The contributors come to the point that for successful work with the gifted child the school is obliged to find its strengths and give the opportunity to the child to show it, to get a taste of success and believe in its own capabilities. Then and only then, the pupil can get interest and the motivation will develop, and that is a requirement for success. In working with the gifted children a teacher should not so much strive to transmit specific body of knowledge, as to help pupils to reach their own conclusions and discoveries.
