This article explores issues related to the relationship between the principle of good faith and adjacent categories in civil law. By analyzing the essence of the principle of good faith and its interaction with phenomena such as estoppel, prohibition of abuse of rights, and circumvention of the law, the article aims to identify the main aspects of legal regulation in the field of civil relations. The author examines how the principle of good faith correlates with adjacent categories, identifies their differences and interconnection, and considers their application in judicial practice and the doctrine of civil law. Based on the analysis conducted, the author draws conclusions about the necessity of delineating the principle of good faith and adjacent categories for effective regulation of civil relations.
