The problem of the «lyric drama» genre formation in the XXth century Russian drama

The presented article deals with the Russian lyric drama genre identification. This scientific problem is not studied enough by our literary both theatre criticism, although the lyric drama became one of leading style and genre tendencies in the XX-th century Russian drama since A. Blok’s and N. Gumilev’s plays till XXI-th century «new writing» with its high author’s activity. The article determines the lyric drama essence expressed in substantional conflict, in the hero close to the lyric hero, in the priority of monologue upon dialogue and other special features of the style.
