Problems of translation of civil and patriotic values in the history of Russian enlightenment

The article deals with the issues of studying the translation of civic-patriotic values in the history of national education. The importance of the formation of a unified system for the transmission of civil-patriotic values in the context of activities to combat anti-patriotic fabrications, overcome pseudo-historical stereotypes and socio-cultural clichés negative in relation to the Russian Federation is substantiated. The problem of national-cultural layers and meaningful constructs of historical memory is investigated. The fundamental scientific concepts in the field of civil and patriotic education are analyzed: citizenship as a leading characteristic of a person's personality, which embodies his civil and patriotic position; patriotism is one of the most significant and enduring values; a patriot as a person who loves his country, devoted to his people and ready for exploits in the name of the interests of his Fatherland. The problem of the formation of a citizen's personality in the process of forming a Russian civic identity based on the acceptance of traditional values by students is considered. The system of civic-patriotic education is characterized as the leading structure for the formation of civic-patriotic values among Russians, consciousness, a sense of loyalty to their Fatherland, readiness to perform civil and military duty, and constitutional duties to protect the interests of Russia. The process of socialization of the individual is presented as a systematic formation by society, the state and the school of full-fledged conditions for the upbringing of the individual. It has been determined that the dissemination of the values of civic-patriotic education contributes to the assimilation of traditional spiritual and moral constructs, the acquisition of the competencies of constructive-critical thinking, creativity, communication, consolidation and solidarity, subjectivity, self-actualization, cultural self-determination. The goals, long-term tasks and main trends in the development of political and administrative mechanisms for the education of citizenship and patriotism in the system of general education are identified. The place and functionality of the system of civic-patriotic values in the matter of strengthening intergenerational ties in modern Russian society are determined. The historical and cultural role, value content, ideological orientation and features of the organization of the translation of the values of civil-patriotic education in the system of national education are substantiated in relief.
