Problems in the field of ensuring the security of participants in criminal proceedings: directions of resolution

This article examines, from new angles, the threats to the national security of Russia, identifies some problems in the field of ensuring the security of participants in criminal proceedings. At the sametime, the author makes his own new subjective proposals, which, in his opinion, allow expanding the legal rights and interests of participants in criminal proceedings and expanding the powers of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The negative trends in the growth of crime in the country are determined, on the basis of which adequate measures are proposed to prevent them. The author makes a proposal to improve the quality of training and retraining of personnel in law enforcement agencies, reducing the tendency to reduce their professional level. The article substantiates the need to finda new approach to correct the trend of reducing the level of trust of citizens in law enforcement agencies.
