The process of knowledge and transformation of consciousness in the era of the internet

The purpose of the research is to reveal the features of consciousness work under the influence of information and communication technologies, which form virtual thinking. Man with the help of computer technology creates a new level of being, claiming reality, which affects the process of receiving, processing, saving and transmitting information, which leads to a change in consciousness. The article describes the process of transformation of consciousness in virtual reality under the influence of such characteristic features of network thinking as symbolism, hypertextuality, distribution, polyphony and others. The authors have tried to present the work of thinking in the context of virtualization of modern society, which is manifested in the economy, culture, education and various social interactions. The peculiarity of the article lies in the interdisciplinary consideration of the virtualization of consciousness, as the study of the process of consciousness change requires the connection of philosophy, psychology, sociology and other related sciences.
