Procedural aspects of exemption from criminal liability in connection with reconciliation with the victim

The article discusses the procedural aspects of exemption from criminal liability in connection with reconciliation with the victim. The problematic aspects of the implementation of this type of exemption from criminal liability are analyzed. The author concludes that, given the existing steady growth trend in the number of persons released from criminal liability for the reconciliation of the parties, it can be concluded that the institution of reconciliation of the offender with the victim quite organically fits into Russian judicial practice.
