Procedural decisions and functions of officials of preliminary investigation bodies from the point of view of the decision-making theory

The article analyzes the process of decision-making by officials of preliminary investigation bodies in the pre-trial stage of criminal proceedings from the point of view of decision-making theory and management theory. On the basis of the conducted research it is established that the procedural decision is the main element of the organization of criminal procedural activity in the pre-trial stage of a criminal case, and the managerial functions of an official that ensure the preparation, adoption and implementation of procedural decisions at the stage of preliminary investigation.
