Processes of interaction between the natural landscape and urban formations in the south of Russia

Environmental problems in the broad sense, as well as issues of urban ecology, have long been the subject of attention of scientists of various profiles. In this case, change over time not only specific technological solutions that enhance the standards and requirements for ecological human habitats, but also changes the approach to the problem is transformed philosophy of understanding ecological environment. At the present stage of development, we are talking not only about complying with environmental rules and regulations, but also the problem of the interaction of the natural landscape and the urban environment. The authors of one of the first turn to the historical roots of the problem by the example of the south. The paper identifies the historical processes of transformation of the environment as a result of the development of municipalities in the southern areas of the country and their environmental consequences.
