Productivity of new soybean varieties on sowings with row-spacing of different wideness

OIL CROPS. Scientific bulletin. VNIIMK, 2006, iss. 1 (134). The analysis of 3-year results of field experience on studying of the two sowing methods (usual drill and wide-row) of five new soybean varieties: Delta, Nika, Valenta, Lacta, Renta, is given in the article. Differenced reaction of soybean agrocenoses on sowing methods for varieties and years is revealed. Positive impact of drill sowing on growth process of soybean plants, accumulation of vegetative mass, formation of leave surface, photosynthesis activity, and economic consumption of natural water recourses, productivity, quality seed composition and economic efficiency of cultivation in comparison with wide-row sowing is marked as well.
