Design of composite stringer plates

The paper investigates the problem of optimal design of a composite stringer plate under compressive loads. It has been established that the optimal design problem for the considered class of structures can have more than one solution. There are provided results of numerical analysis, which allow one to evaluate the efficiency of using stringer plates in comparison with similar structures without reinforcing elements.
