The modern educational environment in institutions of preschool, general, secondary education must meet the requirements of openness and resistance to the negative influences of an unfavorable socio-economic situation. The aggressive rhetoric of the media, the destructive influence of social networks and instant messengers in the virtual space is a threat to the psychological safety of participants in educational relations. Educational institutions need trained teaching staff who can effectively solve a set of tasks of professional and pedagogical activities to create a psychologically safe and comfortable educational environment. As a result of the analysis of the few existing psychological and pedagogical studies on the diagnosis and creation of conditions for a safe educational environment for the successful development of subjects of educational relations, as well as the results of a pilot study to identify the readiness of future teachers to form a psychologically safe educational environment, the need to develop a theoretical model for preparing teachers for activities has been updated on designing a psychologically safe educational environment, its methodological and methodological support. We associate the “teacher’s readiness to work on designing a safe educational environment” with the presence of personal characteristics and qualities, as well as knowledge, skills, and methods of activity that allow the teacher to carry out design aimed at creating programs for the prevention of deviant, aggressive and other manifestations of maladaptive behavior of subjects educational relationships.
