The author of the article considers the importance of planning the work of the school for the education and socialization of students in the framework of the mediation procedure. Described are alternative ways of resolving disputes between the subjects of the educational process. An example of carrying out the mediation procedure in an educational institution is given. The features of its regulation are revealed, the main stages and phases of the procedure are highlighted. Forms of work to prevent conflicts with teachers and parents of students in the school environment are proposed.
