A draft system of psychological prevention in the activities of the Internal Affairs’ bodies is proposed, which includes the following components: purpose, tasks, functions, subjects and objects of preventive impact. The main attributes of the project of preventive psychology as a non-balanced system in the activities of law enforcement officers are outlined. The prognostic and psychodiagnostic functions are being updated, aimed at identification, evaluation, consideration of both static and dynamic characteristics of the system for the prevention of recidivism, as well as a correction function designed to assist persons registered in preventive records in law enforcement agencies. Conclusions. The process of project planning of a preventive psychology system reflects a promising concept in systems theory about the organization of the activities of services and law enforcement divisions as a dynamic, non-linear and fundamentally incomplete structure, due to which a synergistic effect of security and stability of law and order is achieved in the area of law enforcement divisions.
