Project action and creativity: activating cognition

The paper reflects the topic of the relationship between design and cognitive activities, the development of creativity as well as describes the design algorithm and identifies the basic skills and student`s characteristics that formed in the process of educational design. It is concluded that project-based learning activities are most effective for the development of the individual’s creative abilities and developing of qualities necessary for his well-being socialization in the conditions of society`s digitalization.
