Project Activities as a Means of Increasing the Effectiveness of Teaching Graphic Disciplines

The project activity in engineering education is considered. The problem of developing spatial thinking and practical skills necessary for future engineering activities is highlighted. The methodological aspects of the organization of project activities, the stages of the educational project implementation, and examples of projects in which students independently solve complex tasks from an idea to a ready-made design result are presented. The conclusion is made about the positive impact of the project method on the quality of material assimilation, motivation and the level of independence of students' educational and research activities, the development of their analytical abilities and the formation of professional competencies.
