The article discusses the design activity of students in the discipline “Literature” as educational, cognitive, research and creative. Such forms of work as creating comics, multimedia and interdisciplinary projects are considered. It is proposed to use the study of regional literature as the basis of project activity, thereby realizing not only educational aims, but also educational and enlightening ones
