The project activity is considered in the context of enhancing the professionalism of a teacher in a preschool educational organization. It is emphasized that the idea of pedagogical development with the help of pedagogical design is associated with the modernization of the education system based on the competency paradigm and focused on achieving high planned results (subject, meta-subject, personal). It is noted that pedagogical design is of a universal and synthetic nature, since it combines technocratic and humanitarian, research and prognostic, informational, educational and socio-educational principles.
