The article focuses on the project-based learning activities of engineering students in the English language classroom at a technical university. It emphasizes the importance of mastering professional English for engineers’ successful careers in an environment characterized by globalization and international cooperation. The advantages of project work are highlighted as they enhance students’ motivation, foster independence, develop teamwork skills, and improve public presentation abilities in English. Key components of the educational process are discussed, including setting project goals, forming teams, developing working stages, learning professional terminology, and applying effective techniques for delivering presentations. Special attention is paid to developing future aerospace engineers’ professional competencies through participation in projects conducted in English, which involves acquiring specific vocabulary and enhancing skills in publicly defending their developments.
