Engineering design activities in the vocational technological training of educators

The study deals with the arrangement of engineering design activities in the vocational training of future technology teachers. The purpose of the study is to arrange the engineering design activities of students majoring in technology to improve the quality of vocational technological training of a competitive educator. The study demonstrates the aspects of engineering design activities when meeting practical challenges. The research identifies the educational environment conducive to the proper management of engineering design activities; their diverse types are presented as well. The emphasis is placed on the key stages of engineering design activities when creating new products. The authors summarize the practices in devising small-sized desktop training equipment that can be used while teaching students majoring in technology.
