The article is devoted to the importance of the foundations of professional ethics for the hotel industry. It is shown that professional ethics increases the level of the culture of business relationships, while the main task of professional ethics is to determine the directions for the creation and implementation of favorable working conditions and the appropriate psychological climate at the company. Professional ethics in the hotel industry represents a whole system of values that affects the microclimate of the team, maintains the corporate culture, provides a sustainable psychological conditions of employees, the quality of the performance of functional duties, supports the moral and ethical principles, and the norms of professional behavior and the level of culture and education of employees. The article also describes the content of professional ethics, reflects its place in the ethical codes of hospitality enterprises.
