In this article, the authors describe the activity of a foreign language teacher in the realities of modern higher education, systematize modern requirements for the professional culture of a foreign language teacher, determine the main provisions of the content of their pedagogical activity and explain the features of the implementation of pedagogical culture. Special attention is paid to the professional culture of a foreign language teacher, which includes not only the ability to competently build their lessons from a methodological point of view, but also an understanding of how to solve daily problems that arise in relations both in the team and between the students and the teacher.
