Professional orientation of students’ personality

The article deals with a topical issue of the professional orientation of university students’ personality. The research identified the leading role of the motivational component in choosing a profession. The paper presented the results of the author's study aimed at defining the personal characteristics of university students and determining their impact on the professional orientation of the research participants. Carrying out the intervention program allowed one to strengthen links between students’ personal characteristics and motives for a choice of profession.
