Professional training of orchestral brass players in the context of the idea of "Professionalism" programs

The article is devoted to identifying the degree of conjugation of the concepts of «vocational education» and «vocational training» in the field of performing on orchestral wind musical instruments. A brief historical overview is given that clearly illustrates the non-synchronicity of the occurrence of phenomena defined by the terms under study: the professional training of performing musicians appeared much earlier than their professional education. The line of demarcation between the studied concepts in the context of modern trends of the domestic education system is proposed. Based on the collected data, a number of conclusions have been drawn about the contradictions that have accumulated in the fi ld of music pedagogy, explaining the causes of the crisis phenomena that were acutely manifested in the domestic performance of orchestral wind musical instruments at the end of the XX - beginning of the XXI century.
